Golcar United Ladies secured a 2-0 victory over Knaresborough Town in a closely contested Premier Division encounter at Longfield Avenue. The home side started brightly and took the lead after just ten minutes when Chloe Roberts capitalised on Elle-Mae Leitch's assist, squirming her finish under the visiting keeper. Golcar maintained their early momentum but faced a determined Knaresborough side who kept the contest tight through the remainder of the first half. The second half saw Golcar extend their advantage six minutes after the restart. Hannah Lynch struck a superb long-range effort that nestled into the top left corner, with Lauren Buckley providing the assist. The team had a dominant spell after the break, but were forced to dig in under late pressure from the visitors.
